Covid-19 Sanitation Protocol & Procedures for Sunshine Beauty Therapy
Upon making your appointment
• Clients will be asked about their current health i.e cough, sore throat or temperature. They will also be asked if they have been in contact with anyone who has these symptoms.
• Clients will be asked if they have any specific requirements or concerns i.e they feel they are in a high risk category or have a relative who might be.
Upon arrival
• Clients will be asked to use hand sanitiser and have a contactless temperature check
Prior to treatment
• Clients will be asked to complete a short Covid-19 safety form and temperature document.
During your Treatment
• Jane will be wearing a clean face mask each day
• All linen/towels are changed after each client and washed with hospital grade disinfectant at 60 degrees.
• Toilet, bathroom sink, basin, taps and door handles are cleaned and disinfected after each and every client.
• Disposable paper face covers are used on pillows and massage bed
• Disposable cups are used for refreshments
• Disposable towels are offered for use when washing hands
Upon departure
• EFTPOS machine is disinfected prior to and after each use
• Clients are advised to use hand sanitiser before leaving
Salon Cleaning and Disinfecting Procedures
• Jane has completed a Certificate in Infection Prevention and Control from the Health Department of Australia
• Toilet, bathroom sink, basin, taps and door handles are cleaned and disinfected after each and every client.
• All linen is washed in 60 degrees using antibacterial rinse in wash
• All wipeable surfaces through the treatment room and common areas are wiped regularly throughout the day
• All floors are cleaned and disinfected daily
• All products and testers have been removed from the treatment room and bathroom to create clutter free surfaces for easier cleaning.
• Tea Tree/Eucalyptus diffuser is used in reception area and Glen 20 throughout the common areas
