Sensitive-Irritated Skincare
Sensitive skin varies in its appearance depending the how sensitive the individual is and whether the symptom is a hereditary, environmental or caused by lifestyle choices. Someone with sensitive skin without a diagnosed condition tends to have a youthful appearance with delicate skin that is almost translucent. Very sensitive skin includes Rosacea, Eczema, Psoriasis, Redness and Facial Veins. The skin care routine Juniper recommends for the below skin conditions consists of Certified Organic essential oils of Rose-Otto which has an astringent effect on capillaries and is used to reduce redness and broken capillaries. Junipers Sensitive range is also formulated with Calendula to sooth irritated sensitive skin.

Perioral dermatitis is a common facial skin problem in adult women. It rarely occurs in men. It may occasionally affect children. Groups of itchy or tender small red papules (bumps) appear most often around the mouth. They spare the skin bordering the lips (which then appears pale) but develop on the sides of the chin, then spreading to include upper lip and cheeks. The skin surrounding may be pink, and the the skin surface often becomes dry and flaky. Often the skin aound the nose is affected too, and sometimes that around the eyes (when it should more correctly be called "periocular").
Psoriasis
Psoriasis ia an acute inflammatory disease which can be identified by silvery, scaling papules of various sizes. It first appears as small red dull patches covered with dry silvery scales and usually is most prominent on the elbows, knees, lower back, ears and scalp.
